Forecast for tomorrow: the shit will continue

Dictator is in a trap. He may not even known about it. Surrounded by old wolves - the generals with tens of years of experience in ruling in a country of a regime - he has been kept in a greenhouse. The attempt to kill the dictator, which most probably happened at the end of the last year, has been presented to him as a clumsy plot organised by external enemies. Yet the generals know that it was a sign of a growing rebellion inside the country. They know that the rebellion cannot be brought under control this time. It is only a question of months for the underground to become powerful enough to destroy the regime. The generals have no choice. They will lead the dictator into a war with the external enemy because this is the only way they may survive. Both regime and underground will have to stand to fight and die for the country. However the war will be short. The dictator will lose, he will face the court in Hague, perhaps together with some of his military fellow, maybe not. The new system, emerging from ruins of the dictatorship, may ignore many of the rebellion leaders. But it will need and it will welcome some of the old staff with experience in administrating the country, e.g. to avoid an uncontrolled export of the nuclear technologies.

Business as usual. We make war to have peace governed by the war makers.
